Reconstruction, not blur
A MI-GAN inpainting model paints plausible background into the selection instead of smearing the watermark's own pixels.
A TryImager tool
ClearMark AI rebuilds the area behind a logo, watermark or text with AI inpainting — entirely inside your browser. No upload, no signup, and no blurry patch left behind.
Any video format, any size (supported by your browser)
or drop a file here · checking your device
Videos, frames and selections stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
Three steps, all of them local. The only thing downloaded is the inpainting model, once.
Pick or drop any file your browser can decode. It opens locally — nothing is uploaded, so even a large clip starts instantly.
Pause on a frame and drag a box around the logo or text. Because static watermarks stay put, the same box is used for every frame.
An inpainting network reconstructs the covered area from the surrounding pixels, then the frames are re-encoded to MP4 with your original audio.

Decoding, inference and encoding all happen in your browser. There is no upload endpoint, no queue and no stored copy.
Desktops use WebGPU when available and fall back to WebAssembly automatically. Phones switch to a low-memory profile.
Output keeps your resolution and frame rate wherever the encoder supports it, and copies the original audio track untouched.
Each rebuilt region is lightly blended with the previous frame inside the mask only, so the patch does not shimmer during playback.
Every step reports real state — model download size, frame counts, elapsed time and an ETA. If the model cannot run, you get an error, never a fake result.
The logo's pixels are still there, just smeared. The eye reads the soft rectangle immediately, and it moves with every camera pan.
The region is rebuilt from the surrounding image with a feathered, colour-matched seam, so there is no soft box and no visible edge.
You bought the clean licence but only have the preview file on hand while the download finishes. Rebuild the preview mark on footage you are entitled to use.
An old export carries a studio bug or an outdated channel logo you no longer use. Clear it without re-rendering the whole project.
A client approves a draft that still carries your review watermark. Remove it from the draft you produced before delivery.
Screen recordings often pick up trial-software badges and timestamps in a fixed corner — a perfect case for static reconstruction.
Use ClearMark AI only on videos you own or have the rights to edit. Removing someone else's watermark to republish their footage is very likely copyright infringement.
There is no server that receives video. The file is read through a local object URL and decoded in a Web Worker on your machine.
Frames, masks and the finished file live in memory only. Closing the tab clears everything; only the cached model file remains.
Your video, your selection and your filenames are never sent to any analytics or logging service.
Yes. There is no signup and no watermark on the result. Processing time and practical limits depend on your device because all computing happens locally.
No. Your file is opened with a local object URL and decoded frame by frame inside your browser. The video, the frames and the selection box never leave your device and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
Blur keeps the watermark's pixels and smears them. ClearMark AI runs an inpainting neural network that rebuilds the hidden area from the surrounding image, so you get plausible background instead of a smudge.
Anything your browser can decode, which usually means MP4/H.264, WebM/VP8/VP9 and often AV1. Some devices cannot decode HEVC (H.265) or ProRes MOV files; in that case convert the file to MP4 first.
Yes, whenever your browser's encoder supports that resolution. The original audio track is copied over untouched. If a size is rejected by the encoder, the tool scales down to the largest supported size and tells you.
On recent iPhones and Android phones, yes. Phones use a smaller 256 px crop and a single processing thread to stay inside their memory limits, so expect slower processing than on a laptop.
It depends on your hardware, the video length and the size of the selection. A short clip on a desktop with WebGPU takes a couple of minutes; a long clip on a phone can take considerably longer. The tab must stay open.
ClearMark AI is built for static watermarks that stay in one place. For a moving logo, select a box large enough to cover its whole path, which will reconstruct more of the frame.
Only remove watermarks from footage you own or have written permission to edit. Removing a watermark from someone else's video to reuse it is very likely copyright infringement. See our disclaimer for details.
The inpainting network runs locally, so it has to reach your device once. It is cached by your browser afterwards, so later videos start immediately.
Free, private and instant — the video never leaves your device.
